Understanding - Acceptance - Support
HI, I'M ANDREA
(she/her)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience helping individuals navigate the complexities of grief and loss, illness and end of life, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, caregiving, and major life transitions. Throughout my career, I have worked in children's hospitals, served as a hospice grief counselor, and provided psychotherapy in private practice. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for human resilience and the ability to adapt in the face of life's most challenging circumstances. It is a privilege to support others through these profound processes.
While I am committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, I approach my work, first and foremost, as a fellow human being. I value authenticity, kindness, integrity, compassion, connection, and growth, and I strive to bring these values into everything I do. My guiding philosophy is that we are here to learn, grow, connect, and care for each other. As a social worker, I adhere to the profession’s core values of service, social justice, and the dignity and worth of every individual. I am dedicated to ongoing reflection and growth to better serve marginalized and oppressed communities and work toward greater equity.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, sipping coffee, watching the sunrise, hiking in nature, and listening to music.
